[API Suggestion] OAuth

OAuth is a great way to allow third party applications to authenticate users directly from ArenaNet without the third party application receiving any type of log in information. It’s secure and it works. A lot of big social networks sites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and many other use this method. Is ArenaNet working or have planned on implementing OAuth or anything similar to OAuth? As an Android developer I find this very convenient and should be implemented.

This allows for third party applications to give access to user information such as mail, inventory information, character information, chat, guild information, etc etc. The possibilities are limitless. I’d love to check up on my guild while I’m away from home and be able to chat with them. Maybe see what my friends are doing or if I’ve sold any items in my Black Lion Trading Post. I strongly urge you to consider OAuth as a possibility.
