New daily achievement(s) do not have individual achievement descriptions.

example:
https://api.guildwars2.com/v2/achievements?ids=1881,1879
returns: text: “all ids provided are invalid”

However these id’s were returned via
https://api.guildwars2.com/v2/achievements/daily (on 5/13/16 UTC)
as part of the PVE dailies.

You might consider posting in the API sub-forum, where the Dev that handles all the API-related issues reads and comments.

as much as I understood so far, achievements first needs to be whitelisted from the devs in order to appear in the API.

Then again I also read that daily achievements should be whitelisted automatically.

Sometimes it’s easier to start implementing that than having to wait for missing numbers :p (been there, done that, and in the end you always wonder why you didn’t do it sooner!)
