notebene.3190:

I’m on Emhry Bay and the timers seem off this morning on two major sites (gw2stuff and guildwarstemple/dragontimer).

Not sure if this is a good place for it, but FYI.

Stefan Larimore.6872:

This was likely due to an API outage we had which was related to the GW2 outage, resolved about an hour ago. I’m now seeing events updating on my end. Please let me know if you are still having problems.

Lothirieth.3408:

At this moment the timers on Gandara seem all wonky. It’s telling me portals have appeared for the Behemoth, but all is quiet here.

edit: I’m seeing the EU in general is having issues, so I suppose this is already a known issue.

Khisanth.2948:

The state information is still wrong. For example on Desolation it is reporting that http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Escort%20the%20Sentinel%20squad%20to%20the%20Vigil%20camp%20in%20Lowland%20Burns is active.
It has also been reporting http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Defeat%20the%20great%20jungle%20wurm as being active for hours

Neither of those is true. Some events update correctly be others do not.

Stefan Larimore.6872:

Yes, we are still subject to EU event inaccuracies until I get the dropped event update problem resolved.

Is there any easy way for the API to report its own status? And to distinguish between EU/US for this purpose? That way, any site/app using the API can tell its users right away that the data is inaccurate, without having to ask here, on Reddit, Facebook, Twitter, or in-game. Currently, players seem to think that the sites/apps are broken, when the root cause is server side.
