Please consider starting a GitHub or a GoogleCode page so that the community can contribute pull requests in order to help further the development of this project you are working on.
I am a full supporter of open source, and with a community this interested to dive in and utilize this new feature (API) I’m sure they would be too.

Some forums don’t allow dynamic links for images. Here is the fix for it.

I should not that this grabs the latest published data. By published data, I mean data that I pull from the API and store. It does not pull directly from the API, but instead grabs from the API, massages it, stores it, verifies it and the publishes it.
I am currently updating about once every 15 seconds.

While they have provided a good service for the last few months, I don’t believe people should stop making their own apps/web sites just because mos started using the API.

I agree, I already started creating a live wvw status page even if there is MoS. I just wanted to wait for the API coming out, it’s not that MoS invented server status pages.

You should consider caching those images for a bit. Especially as signatures I wouldn’t want to get a new image every single time.
