Hey,

I was really excited to hear a long while back that ArenaNet were planning on releasing an API for GW2 but until I read this Twitter post this morning…

… I had no idea that this forum even existed and therefore that the API was live! I am now excited to get started on my first GW2 app :-) Perhaps ArenaNet could post about the API somewhere more public (e.g. on the blog) to inform more developers?
